The earthquake occurred at a shallow #depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter late at night on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at 11:02 pm local time.

Tremors Felt Due To Strong Magnitude Earthquake Hit Nepal
The Tremors were strong enough to be felt in neighboring India and China, particularly in northern India, sparking panic among residents who rushed out of their homes and onto the streets. ( Delhi, Haryana, UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand and To Dharan In the East Nepal.
The Tremors were also felt in North India, including Delhi, Noida and Gurugram, and Bihar, but local officials had no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage.
The epicentre of the quake was at the Lamidanda area in Jajarkot district, according to officials at the National Earthquake Measurement Centre.
After few hours after the earthquake, the Nepal home ministry told 24 bodies were recovered — 10 were from Jajarkot and 14 were from the Western Rukum district. The peoples also included a woman and a child from the same household.
The ministry of Nepal said reports of injuries and damage to property are mostly happened in other districts too, including Dailekh, Salyan, and Rolpa districts.
The injured people are sent for treatment at Jajarkot District Hospital.
Jajarkokt is about 500 kilometres west of Kathmandu In Karnali Pradesh Close to China Region.
